Goodridge-Grygla vs Climax-Fisher

Goodridge, MN — The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers defeated the Climax/Fisher Knights 70-33 on Monday night advancing out of the Section 8A Boys Basketball Pig Tail Round.

The start of the game was sloppy for both teams. Trading turnovers and offensive fouls, it took over two minutes for either team to get on the scoreboard. The Chargers held onto a slight lead once the scoring did begin and they would use a 13-0 run to surge in front and lead 38-12 at halftime.

The halftime deficit was more then enough for the Chargers to cruise to the win, eventually sealing the victory 70-33.

Goodridge/Grygla is now 14-13 on the year and will play Red Lake County in the next round Thursday at 6 pm at Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls. For Climax/Fisher, their season ends with a 9-18 record and graduate two seniors.
