Griggs-Midkota at Hillsboro-Central Valley

The Hillsboro/Central Valley girls basketball team was in need of a bounce-back game after a tough loss to Grafton Tuesday night. The Burros made sure to strike first Thursday night, scoring the first eighteen points enroute to a convincing 55-37 home victory over the Griggs-Midkota Titans.

It was a career night for Burro Junior Megan Ensign. Ensign drained three triples in the first quarter, three more in the second quarter, and two more in the second half, leading the team for the second straight night with 26 points off a career-high eight three-pointers. Kennedy Olsen also reached double figures with fourteen. Kelsey Johnson led the Titans with twelve.

HCV moves to 6-10 with the win and starts a four-game road series at May-Port-C-G on Tuesday. Griggs-Midkota drops to 6-11 and travels to New Rockford-Sheyenne on Monday.
