Kindred is heading to the North Dakota Class A quarterfinals with a 49-6 win over Harvey/Wells County on Sartuday afternoon from Jerlow Field.

The Vikings rushed for 286 yards and finished with 400 yards of offense against the Hornets. Jake Starcevic contributed for 4 touchdowns (3 passing and 1 rushing) and 181 yards off offense. Kindred’s defense forced three straight three-and-outs to begin the game. 

Harvey-Wells County finishes 5-5 overall and lost their 11th straight playoff game. The Hornets last win in the postseason came in 2009.

Kindred will host the quarterfinals on Saturday, October 28. The Vikings defeated the Tornadoes 21-0 in Oakes on September 22 in a Region 1 contest.
