Maple River closed out the regular-season in Division B girls basketball with a 61-51 win over Hatton-Northwood on Tuesday night from Tower City. 

Violet Richman scored 22 points off the bench and Adyson Hannig added 13 points for the Raiders. Maple River (16-3 overall) enters the District 1 Tournament on Friday as the #1 overall seed and play #8 Hankinson at 3 p.m. from Wahpeton. Elizabeth Pinke paced Hatton-Northwood with 22 points and Trista Bilden added 14 points. The Thunder (12-7 overall) will play Larimore in the District 4 girls basketball tournament on Friday at 4:30 p.m. from New Rockford-Sheyenne.
