Thompson 60, Hatton-Northwood 31

Thompson’s girls basketball team won its 16th consecutive game Tuesday as they defeated Hatton-Northwood 60-31 in Thompson.

The Tommies’ defense forced 22 turnovers as the top-ranked team in Class B led from wire to wire against the Thunder.

Freshman Addison Sage scored 13 points to lead Thompson, with senior Olivia Dick adding 12.  The Tommies are now 17-1 on the season and 9-0 in Region 2 play.  Thompson travels to 10th ranked Mayport-CG Thursday night.

Kennison Azure had 11 for Hatton-Northwood; the Thunder are now 15-5 overall and 7-4 in Region 2 play.
