Henning at Pillager
Preview
The Huskies pulled off to an early 13-4 lead, initially sparked by a huge dunk by Christian Hooge. But sharpshooter Costelecky for the Hornets refused to back down, nailing 3 first half threes to put the Hornets up by 8 at halftime, 34-26. After battling back in the top of the second half, Elliott Imdieke scored a layup and drew the foul for the game tying 3-point play, but missed the freethrow with about 5 minutes left in play. Pillager never got to officially close that gap, as another three from Costelecky and a dominant performance from Teigan Bjerke in the closing minutes pulled the Hornets back ahead for a 8 point, 60-52 road win. Pillagers losing streak to Henning extends to 8 straight games.
