Hillcrest Academy at Mahnomen-Waubun

Recap

The Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets used their size and hot shooting to hold off several Mahnomen Waubun rallies throughout the night to come away with a 86-62 win.  After a couple of quick ties the Comets would go on a 9-0 run and would lead the rest of the way.  The Thunderbirds would cut double figure leads to as few as 4 point several times throughout the night, but the Comets would use size and some big 3 point buckets to build the lead right back to double digits, and eventually wear down the Thunderbirds to get the win.  Mahnomen Waubun falls to 2-2 while the Comets are now 4-2.
