Hillsboro-Central Valley at Ada-Borup-West

Hillsboro-Central Valley defeated Ada-Borup-West 56-39 Friday night in Ada.  The visiting Burro’s took the lead for good at 14-13 — after two tied scores and this was the seventh lead change.   HCV led 28-18 at halftime thanks to a 12-0 run with good defense, some transition and outside shooting combination.   Ada-Borup-West was within six points midway through the second half and could get no closer as they slip to 13-9.  HCV is now 10-10 overall.  HCV plays it’s final regular season game versus Thompson next week while Ada-Borup-West has two regualar season games remaining.   The night also featured a celebration of the 2015 State Class A Minnesota basketball championship team for Ada-Borup girls basketball. Most of the team members from that 32-0 season were able to return for the recognition event.
