Hillsboro-Central Valley vs Grafton

The Grafton Spoilers hosted the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros in a Division A Region Two Girls Basketball contest Tuesday night. The Spoilers got out in front early and led the entire way, snapping their seven-game losing skid and picking up a 62-37 victory. The Spoilers jumped out to a 7-0 run in the first quarter, leading 15-10 after the first eight minutes. Grafton would stretch that lead to 20, with a 36-16 lead at the half, and outscored the Burros, 26-21, in the second half.

Kate LeClerc led the Spoilers with 21 points off of five made three-pointers. Savannah Blackcloud and Addison Fredericksen also reached double figures with 14 and 12 respectively. Megan Ensign led the Burros with 17, also off of five made three-pointers. Paityn Olson also reached double figures with ten. Grafton moves to 5-9 (2-4) with the win while Hillsboro/Central Valley falls to 5-10 (0-4). The Spoilers are back in action Friday night at Kindred, while HCV hosts Griggs-Midkota on Thursday.
