LISBON, ND – Hillsboro/Central Valley used a swarming defense to pick up a 50-40 road victory over Lisbon on Friday night.

The Broncos only had 9 shot attempts in the second quarter and the Burros cashed in with a 12-0 quarter.

Bryce Miller and Trey Johnson each netted 16 points and Aelxander Dufner added 8 points and 7 rebounds for the Burros. HCV (2-6 overall) returns to court against Oak Grove on Thursday.

Libson (7-3 overall) was paced by Cameron Cordero and Sully Kellson with 10 point apiece. The Broncos host Northern Cass for a boys and girls basketball doubleheader on Tuesday.
