Thompson broke a 3 game losing streak Tuesday as the Tommies defeated Hillsboro/Central Valley in 3 straight sets, 25-11, 25-10 and 25-15.

The Tommies had a 7-0 run late in the first set, sparked by 3 aces by Kya Hurst.  She had 4 aces in the game and Thompson as a team had 7.

Thompson had a balanced attack with Abby Olson leading the way with 9 kills and a block assist.  Andie Schwab, Kloey Huebner and Danica Gross each had 6 kills.  The Tommies (20-5, 6-3 Region 2A) had 35 kills, 5 blocks, 7 service aces and 3 service errors.

Hillsboro/Central Valley (8-18, 1-9) was led by Abigail Anderson and Malia Bryl with 3 kills apiece.  The Burros had 14 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces and 5 service errors.

Thompson plays at MayPort-CG on Thursday, while HCV travels to Central Cass on Thursday.
