Kindred at Thompson

For the second straight Saturday, the ND Girls Class A top-ranked Thompson Tommies hosted a marquise matchup, welcoming the Kindred Vikings to the Perry Baake Gymnasium. The Tommies entered the clash with Kindred at 8-0, while the Vikings were at 6-2, with their only two losses by a combined eleven points. Also for the second straight week, the “Tommmie Tornado” turned out another convincing victory, 67-44.
Kindred sophomore, Laela Eisenschenk, scored the first basket of the game. From that point on, Thompson was in control, using an 18-0 run to surge ahead and never looked back. Sophomore, Addison Sage, led another balanced attack for the Tommies with 22 points. Senior, Sydney Schwabe, also churned out a balanced attack with 17 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Eighth grader, Siera Nipstad, led the Vikings with 15.
Thompson (9-0) looks to keep rolling as they travel to Lisbon on Tuesday. Kindred (6-3) is also back in action Tuesday when they host Oak Grove.
