Defensive takeaways transitioned into offensive opportunities for the Kindred Vikings to run out with an early advantage in their 83-51 win over the Northern Cass Jaguars. The Viking defense force 15 Jaguar turnovers in the first half, leading to transition baskets and extra offensive opportunities. Siera Nipstad would nearly equal the Jaguars in the first half with 26 points of her own for the Viking 47-27 lead. In the second half the Jaguars would get no closer than 15 points as the Vikings continued to push the tempo with success for the victory.

Kindred is now 11-5 overall while the loss drops Northern Cass to 3-13 on the season. JV game was won by Northern Cass 61-37.
