BISMARCK, ND – Kindred defeated Beulah 73-50 in the quarterfinal round of the North Dakota Division A Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursday night.

Kindred sophomores of Brooks Bakko finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds while Luke Starcevic added 12 points and 8 rebounds. The Vikings have advanced to a state semifinal round for the fourth time in the past five years and second straight in Division A. Kindred plays Thompson at 8:15 on Friday night. Braylen Schirado paced Beulah with 24 points and 5 made three-pointers. The Miners will matchup against Killdeer in the consolation semifinals on Friday at 2:45 p.m.
