Kindred vs Northern Cass

The Northern Cass Jaguars hosted Kindred Thursday in ND Class B Region 1 Girls Volleyball. It was a back-and-forth match, but each and every set went to the home team: 25-22, 25-23, 25-15.
The Vikings would take the early lead, using a 7-0 run to lead 8-1 in the opening set. But the Jaguars rallied, scoring 24 of the last 38 points to take the opening set. The second set was tight throughout, with multiple ties midway through. The Jaguars pulled ahead late to lead 24-21. Kindred would score back-to-back points to close the gap to one, but Addy Winterquist’s crucial kill sealed the second set. NC never trailed in the third set, opening up the final frame on a 4-0 run.
Jaguar senior, Haidyn Crockett, led the attack for Northern Cass with 13 kills. Kindred freshman, Taylor Sanders, led the Vikings with 12.
Northern Cass will continue their four-game home stand when they host Central Cass on Tuesday. Kindred has a quick turnaround as they head west to Center-Stanton Saturday.
