The Fosston Greyhounds improved to 3-0 with a hard fought 32-27 win over the Kittson County Central Bearcats Friday night in Fosston. Ryne Duppong scored three touchdowns and Jakob Rudie two touchdowns for Fosston. The Greyhounds never trailed in the game and led 6-0 after the first quarter, 20-7 at halftime and 20-14 after three quarters. Dawson Bailie caught five passes for 52 yards for Fosston while Will Christen had two receptions for 42 yards for the Greyhounds. Ashton Knutson scored three touchdowns including a 93 yard kick return for a touchdown for Kittson County Central as the Bearcats fall to 2-1. The Bearcats were driving for a potential game winning score when Jakob Rudie intercepted a pass in the end zone to preserve the win for Fosston. It was the only turnover in the game for either team. The Greyhounds will return to action on Friday, September 20th when they travel to Clearbrook-Gonvick (1480-AM/99.7 FM). Kittson County Central will also play their next game on Friday, September 20th when they host the Stephen-Argyle Storm.
