Erskine, MN. — The Kittson County Bearcats picked up their first win of season on Friday night defeating the Win E Mac Patriots 87-55.

KCC used some early runs in the first half after they struggled early on offense. But they turned their defense into offense forcing the Patriots into 25 turnovers. The big number was the number of free throws shot in the game. Both teams played ultra aggressive defense and at times were even more so. There were a total of 89 free throws shot in the game and both teams with similar percentages.

KCC is 1-0 to begin the season and will play BGMR next, next week. Win E Mac falls to 1-1 and will be at Fertile-Beltrami next Monday.
