The Ada-Borup-West Cougar bats came out swinging and started the game with an 11-run First inning on their way to a 13-2 win over the Kittson county Central Bearcats. While the Cougars did connect on nine hits in their first inning at the plate, a two-out error by the Bearcats was the defining play of the inning as it allowed the inning to continue and accounted for seven unearned runs crossing the plate. Meanwhile the Bearcat offense was held to just three hits in the game – that all came in succession in the fourth inning to score their two runs. The Cougars are now 10-2 overall and will play Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Friday. the Bearcats fall to 0-5 overall with a home split doubleheader on Monday versus BGMR and Win-E-Mac.
