Kittson County Central vs. Mahnomen/Waubun

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds played solid defense and forced Kittson County Central into several turnovers to get a 56-49 win and advance in the section 8A tournament.  KCC struggled to make shots, and Mahnomen Waubun was able to capitalize off of Bearcat turnovers to build a lead in the 2nd half and hold on for the win.  Mahnomen Waubun is now 17-11 and will play Tuesday night against Sacred Heart while KCC will end their season at 24-3.
