Kittson County Central scored first, but Stephen-Argyle would get their first lead at 5-4. Then the Storm came rumbling in with an offensive explosion going on a 16-5 run to make it 25-13. That run included 2 of the 4 Anders Thompson first half 3’s. Stephen-Argyle got the lead as high as 16 with just a few second left, but a last second layup from Eli Peterson made it a 38-24 game at the break.

The Bearcats again scored first to the start the half, but a 2 handed slam from the Storm’s Caden Pagnac capped a 6-0 run to give the Storm their largest lead of the game. Kittson County Central immediately responded with 3 straight triples and the last one had everyone in awe as Kellen Johnson hit a step back ankle breaking 3-pointer. Just like that it was back to a single digit deficit. After trading a couple buckets, Stephen-Argyle made one final push going on a 7-0 run to make it 55-40 and they would hold on and from there before finishing off with a 17 point win and a trip back to The Ralph Englestad Arena for the second straight season.
