Lake of the Woods vs. Fosston

The Fosston Greyhounds scored 12 runs in the third inning and shutout the Lake of the Woods Bears 15-0 in the East Sub-Section 8A Championship game at Bemidji State. The big blast in the third inning was a grand slam home run from Markus Olson. Zach Theis tossed a complete game one hit shutout as Fosston improved their overall record to 18-3. Hudson Boushee, Tommy Simonson, Brecken Levin and Aiden Wolfe each had two hits for the Greyhounds as they move on in the winners bracket to play East Grand Forks Sacred Heart on Saturday, June 3rd at Bemidji State (4:00 pm on 96.7 FM). Charlie Eck had the lone hit for Lake of the Woods as they fall to 15-6 overall.
