Lake Park Audubon at Fertile-Beltrami

Fertile, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon Raiders beat the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons in Girls Basketball on Tuesday night 51-33.

Lake Park-Audubon never backed off of their defensive pressure in the full or half court forcing the Falcons into over 40 turnovers for the night. Despite all of the turnovers, it was only a nine point ballgame at the half with the Raiders leading 29-20. Fertile-Beltrami kept the score at a reasonable deficit but it only took one substantial run in the second have for LPA to take control of the game and eventually win 51-33.

The Raiders improve to 2-3 on the season and will be at home to host Park Christian on Friday. Fertile-Beltrami falls to 2-2 and will play Blackduck on Saturday at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls.
