The Fosston Greyhounds used a 19-0 run in the first half to help lead them to the 66-56 win at Fosston on Tuesday night. The Raiders held a 17-15 lead when Fosston scored the next 19 points to build a 34-17 lead. Will Christen led Fosston with 15 points as the Greyhounds improve to 7-5 overall and 6-2 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Jack Sekely came off the bench and hit four three pointers and added 14 points for Fosston. Dawson Bailie pitched in with 10 points while Mitchell Mulry added 9 points and Kelton Gray 8 points for the Greyhounds. Luca Beske led Lake Park-Audubon with 19 points as the Raiders fall to 4-11 overall and 2-6 in the conference. 8th Grader Mac Voth came off the bench to score 11 points for Lake Park-Audubon while Brayden Sandland added 10 points and Tripp Eiter 9 points for the Raiders. Lake Park-Audubon hit 11 three pointers in the game with five players hitting at least one three pointer. The Greyhounds shot 12 for 23 at the free throw line while the Raiders were 1 for 2 at the stripe. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 49-22. Fosston will return to action on Thursday, January 23rd when they host the Climax/Fisher Knights (1480-AM/99.7 FM). The Raiders will also play their next game on Thursday, January 23rd when they host the Park Christian Falcons.
