Lake Park-Audubon 47 Mahnomen-Waubun 44

In a back and forth battle the Lake Park Audubon Raiders made crucial free throws while Mahnomen Waubun struggled with turnovers giving the Raiders a 47-44 win.  The Raiders would trail in the first half thanks to a great defensive performance by the Thunderbirds but LPA made shots to tie the game at the half at 21-21.  In the 2nd half the the Raiders would flip the script playing better defense and forcing the Thunderbirds into several turnovers.  The game would remain close and with time winding down the game would be tied at 44 all.  The Raiders made free throws and the Thunderbirds would turno the ball over giving the Raiders their 8th win of the season at 8-11 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 9-10.
