VALLEY CITY, ND – Maple River picked up their fourth win of the season with a 56-54 win over LaMoure-Litchville/Marion.

Addy Smith made a pair of free-throws to tie the game with 6.2 seconds left in regulation. Maple River inbounded the basketball to Abigail Killoran who found Hallie Besette to make a layup before the buzzer for the game-winner. Besette finished with 6 points and Adyson Hannig added 25 points for the Raiders.

Smith paced LLM with 21 points and Norah DelaBarre added 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Loboes (2-2 overall) will host Maple River in rematch on January 10.
