Langdon Area/Munich DEF. Thompson 3-2 (23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 17-25, 15-11)

Langdon Area/Munich and Thompson battled for five sets Tuesday night before the Cardinals took the fifth set 15-11 to win the match in Thompson.

Senior Meredith Romfo had kills for Langdon Area/Munich’s final two points.  She finished the night with 14 kills and 2 aces.  Eighth grader Hilary Haaven had 15 kills to lead the Cardinals.

Senior Jordyn Tozer had 14 kills, 2.5 blocks and a service ace for Thompson, with Kloey Huebner adding 11 kills and an ace.

Langdon Area/Munich (6-2) next plays Saturday at the Valley City tournament.

Thompson (1-6) travels to New Rockford-Sheyenne Thursday night.
