Larimore at Hillsboro-Central Valley

The Hillsboro-Central Valley Burros hosted the Larimore Polar Bears in a Class A/Class B matchup to close out their pre-Christmas schedules. Both teams played even in the first quarter, but an 8-0 run to start the second was enough to propel the Burros to a 44-33 victory, snapping a five-game losing streak.

The Burros led by as much as 14 points while Larimore couldn’t close the gap to within four after the first quarter. Megan Ensign led all scorers and HCV with 16 points off of five made three-pointers. Paityn Olson chipped in 15, 13 of which came in the first half. Sadie Aamodt led the Polar Bears with 10.

The Burros improve to 3-6 with the win while Larimore falls to 3-6 with the loss. Both teams will enjoy the holiday break before their next matchups:
