The Maple River Raiders opened the 2022-23 Class B girls basketball season with a 62-41 win over the Lisbon on Tuesday night in Tower City.

Chloe Wetch scored a game-high 22 points, while Aydson Hannig added 18 points and BriElle Killoran chipped in 12 points for the Raiders.

Maple River (1-0 overall, 1-0 Region 1) heads to Casselton for their next game against #1 Central Cass on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on Your Live Event.

Kaia Sweet and Parker Ercink paced Lisbon with 8 points each. The Broncos (0-1 overall, 0-1 Region 1) hit the court for a non-region road contest on Friday against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.
