The Thompson Tommies ended their regular season on a high note, toppling the Lisbon Broncos in ND Division A Girls Basketball action, on the Tommies’ Senior Night, 81-24.

Thompson got out to a hot start, leading 28-9 at the end of the first quarter. The Tommies stretched the lead past 40 in the second quarter, taking a 54-13 lead into the halftime locker room. The Tommies continued to turn up the tempo on offense, outscoring the Broncos 27-11 in the second half. Thompson shot just shy of 60% for the game as they crossed the 80-point mark for the first time this season.

Addision Sage led the Tommies with 24 points. Kya Hurst also reached double figures with 18 while Claire Kolling, Andie Schwab, and Jailin Avdem tallied at least eight in the victory. Brynn Wiltse led the Broncos with seven points. Thompson closes out their regular season with a 17-4 record and will play Hillsboro/Central Valley in the opening round of the ND Division A Region Two Girls Basketball Tournament on Monday. Lisbon will face Kindred in the opening round of the ND Division A Region One Girls Basketball Tournament, also starting Monday.
