Valerie Mendoza finished with 11 points off the bench for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood/Hankinson in the Region 1 girls basketball tournament on Thursday night against Lisbon. 

The Warbirds won in comeback fashion in the fourth quarter 40-34 to advance to the Region 1 quarterfinals on Monday against Central Cass at 3 p.m. from the Scheels Center.

Ryatt Wertman and Kyra Haecherl paced Lisbon with 8 points each. The Broncos finish the season 5-15 overall.
