Bagley, MN — The Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds Softball Team took care of business on Tuesday afternoon winning their third game in a row after beating the Bagley Flyers 21-3.

The T-Birds would score 7 runs in each of the first two innings to lead 14-3 after two innings of play. Mahnomen/Waubun would tack onto the lead scoring one more run in the 3rd and six more runs in the 4th enacting the 15-run rule after four innings of play.

The win gives the Thunderbirds their third win in a row improving to 6-5 on the season. The Thunderbirds look to extend their win streak to four games when they host Lake Park-Audubon on Thursday. For the Bagley Flyers, they drop to 2-3 on the season and will host Pine River-Backus Wednesday.
