GBB Mahnomen-Waubun at Fosston

The Fosston Greyhounds jumped out to a 12-0 lead and never trailed as they defeated Mahnomen/Waubun 56-32 at the Fosston Gym. Brynlea Mahlen led Fosston with 14 points as the Greyhounds improve to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Lexi Mahlen added 11 points and Teagan Duppong came off the bench to score 9 points for Fosston. Brynn McArthur led Mahnomen/Waubun with 8 points as the Thunderbirds fall to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The Thunderbirds were held scoreless for the first 7:08 of the game. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 46-39. The Greyhounds return to action on Friday when they travel to Blackduck (96.7 FM) while the Thunderbirds will play their next game Saturday at New York Mills.
