Mahnomen-Waubun at Lake Park-Audubon

Recap

The Lake Park Audubon Raiders built a 19 point lead in the 1st half only to see Mahnomen Waubun come back to force overtime but the Raiders would hang on for the win 63-60.  The Raiders shot the ball very well in the first half building the double digit lead and would go into the half leading 43-28.  In the 2nd half the Thunderbirds would continue a run that started at the end of the first half that would result in Mahnomen Waubun taking their first lead since early in the first half at 38-37.  The Raiders would not score a field goal until 2:34 remaining in the regulation, as they had to rely on free throws to stay in the game.  After some back and forth and some turnovers the game woul end regulation tied at 57.  In the overtime session Mahnomen Waubun would score 1st, bur the Raiders would hit some big shots and free throws to hang on for the win.  LPA is now 7-11 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 7-15.
