Mahnomen-Waubun at Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal

The NCE-UH Titans had to overcome a 15 point 1st half deficit to pick up a 61-48 win over Mahnomen Waubun in Boys Basketball.  The THunderbirds used a 13-0 lead midway through the 1st half to build the double figure lead.  The Titans would hang around and keep the game in reach and would trail at the half 30-22.  In the 2nd half the Titans would continue to chip away and would turn up the defense forcing the Thunderbirds into several turnovers which would result in points.  The Titans would tie the game at 45 with 4:37 remaining and would take their first lead at 50-48 with 2:20 to go and then wouldnt look back.  With the win NCE-UH is now 1-1 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 1-1.
