BBB Mahnomen-Waubun at Thief River Falls

The Thunderbirds traveled to Thief River Falls to take on the Prowlers Tuesday night. In what would end up being a game down to the wire the Prowlers picked up the victory 72-66. The Thunderbirds led at half time 42-31 but some late turnovers down the stretch would eventually lead to a Max Peterson go ahead basket with 27 seconds left to give the Prowlers a 68-66 lead.

Carter Clark led the Thunderbirds in scoring with 22 points. Michael Weaver added 12. Bridger Wilcox of TRF was the high scorer with 24 on the game, Caleb Rosendahl finished with 19.

Next up for the Thunderbirds is the final game of the regular season March 1st @ Breckenridge. The Thunderbirds currently sit at 8-17 on the year.
