Red Lake, MN — The Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds put on a dominant performance in their 69-28 win over the Red Lake Warriors on Monday night.

Thunderbirds Coach Zach Qual preached ball movement all night long during Monday nights game as the Thunderbirds traded good shots for great shots all night long. The Thunderbirds were lead in scoring by Senior Kendra Syverson who put up her usual line of 19 pts. Two other players were in double figures for the Thunderbirds, Brynn McArthur 11 pts and Lexi Pazdernik 10 pts. Mahnomen/Waubun is back to .500 again at 6-6 and will play on Thursday at Sacred Heart. Red Lake falls to 3-9 on the year and will be at home on Tuesday against Deer River.
