Mahnomen/Waubun vs. Parkers Prairie

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds used a suffocating defense that limited Parkers Prairie to just 61 yards of total offense enroute to an 18-0 win and extending their season.  The Thunderbirds offense was able to take advantage of some Panther errors, and would also produce some big plays for crucial first downs to extend drives which would result in points.  Parkers Prairie struggled to get any offense going running very few plays while Mahnomen Waubun would put together long drives which would eat up yards and clock.  With the win Mahnomen Waubun is now 11-0 and will advance to the state semi finals where they will play Springfield at US Bank Stadium, while Parkers Prairie ends their season at 9-3.
