The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds got off to a good start jumping out to a 16-0 lead to begin and never looked back in a 52-25 win over Win E Mac.  The Thunderbirds Defense played well in limiting the Patriots offense to few good shots, and also forced them into several turnovers through out the night.  The Thunderbirds would lead at the half 29-13.  The 2nd half saw the Patriots play better hitting some shots and also forcing Mahnomen Waubun into several turnovers, but the Thunderbirds would hit timely shots and cruise to the win moving to 2-0 on the year while WEM drops to 1-2.
