Maple River defeated Richland 57-20 in the quarterfinals of the Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament on Tuesday night.

Violet Richman had 12 points and 8 steals, while BriElle Killoran added 11 points and 8 rebounds as the Raiders improved to 3-0 overall. Maple River plays LaMoure-Litchville/Marion in the semifinals on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Alayna Schmitt paced Richland with 5 points and 12 rebounds as the Colts dropped to 0-3 overall. Richland plays Northern Cass JV in the consolation semifinals on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
