Eric Pederson’s 1 strikeouts and a late RBI single snapped the Raiders’ 7-game losing streak and grabbed a Section 5A victory over McGregor 8-5 on Monday.

The Mercs grabbed early lead with Kaiden Kellerman scoring on a wild pitch and Isaiah Serfling added an RBI single in the Top of the 1st. Mille Lacs quickly tied the game in the bottom of the inning with a pair of runs coming in on wild pitches. The Raiders would take the lead for the rest of the game with Jakob Wind bringing home TJ Remer with an RBI single in the 3rd at 3-2.

Mille Lacs would go on to extend their lead with 5 runs in the last two innings to go along with 5 McGregor errors. The Mercs would scratch across one run in the 6th and Willie Glunz added an RBI single in the 7th before falling for the 9th time this season.

Eric Pederson took the lead after pitching 6 1/3 innings and gave up 4 runs off 7 hits and 3 walks while striking out 12 batters. TJ Remer reached base 3 out of 4 times and scored 3 runs. Mille Lacs improves to 6-12 on the season.

Ethan Bohn gave up 8 runs on 5 walks and 3 hits after pitching 5 1.3 innings. Bohn added a single. Kaiden Kellerman had 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Cooper Sellers and Willie Glunz each had RBI singles. McGregor falls to 2-9 on the season.
