Maple River improved to 2-0 in the girls basketball season with a 44-28 win over Medina-Pingree/Buchanan on Thursday night.
Violet Richman was one of three Raiders who finished in double digits in scoreing. Richman had 14 points, BirElle Killoran added 13 points and Aydson Hanng had 10 points for Maple River.
Maddie Gefroh posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Thunder. Medina-Pingree/Buchanan (0-1 overall) hosts Oakes on Saturday for their next contest.
