Sam Hebeisen pitched a complete game two-hitter with 15 strikeouts as Mille Lacs downed Pine River-Backus 8-0 in a Section 5A matchup.

The Raiders tallied a single run in the first, four in the second on four hits, two in the third and the final run in the sixth all while Hebeisen held the Tigers’ offense in check.

Tristan Schweich went 3-4 with two runs, Mark Vossen had two RBI singles and Hebeisen was 2-4 with two runs to lead the Raiders’ offense.

Jonathon Shogren took the loss for PRB going two innings, allowing five runs on six hits.

The Raiders are 5-4 while the Tigers fall to 3-4.
