Ada Post 26’s pitching and defense led the way in their 4-2 victory over Glenwood-Lowry Post 187 & 253. Glenwood-Lowry crossed the plate first when a two-out error in the first inning allowed the first two runs of the game to score. Ada Post 26 would then settle in behind pitcher Austin McCraven who was able to retire 13 batters in a row and limited Glenwood-Lowry to just two hits and four total baserunners after the first inning. The Ada Post 26 offense also only managed two hits in the game, but they collected 11 walks (plus to hit batters) in the game to have runners on base throughout the game. With the win Ada Post 26 will face Le Sueur/Henderson in the semifinals on Saturday (scheduled for 7:30 pm start time). Glenwood-Lowry will move to the consolation bracket and face Sleepy Eye at 11am on Saturday.
