Mora at Pequot Lakes

On Homecoming night, the Pequot Lakes Patriots scored on their first play from scrimmage and cruised to a 41-0 shutout win over the Mora Mustangs to remain undefeated on the season.
Receiving the opening kick, Michael Oseland tossed a short shovel pass to Landen Brill who went untouched for 61 yards on the game’s first offensive play. The Patriots proceeded to score on five of their six first half possessions to take a 35-0 lead into halftime. It was quickly 14-0 Pequot Lakes as the defense turned a quick three-and-out and Bryar Nordby, on a receiver pass, connected with Micah Loukota in the back of the end zone for the score.
John Paul Elsenpeter rushed for two scores and Kamrin Hulke added another in the 2nd quarter.
Hulke set up the final score with an interception that set up the Patriots at the Mora six yard line, and Nordby scored on the ground two plays later from two yards out.
Elsenpeter ended up with 125 yards on just four carries. Oseland was 5/9 for 110 yards and the touchdown.
Pequot Lakes outgained Mora 383-132 as they improve to 6-0 on the season, 5-0 in the Northeast-White District while Mora falls to 1-5 (1-4)
