NC East/Ulen-Hitterdal at Mahnomen-Waubun

Recap

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds got off to a hot start and then had to hang on for a 3-1 win over NCE-UH 25-8, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22.  After a fast start, the Thunderbirds had to weather the storm as NCE-UH started to pick up momentum with some big blocks and well placed hits.  Mahnomen Waubun would have to battle through some mistakes, but also had a very big attack, and some big service runs to hold off the Titans and come away with the win.  Mahnomen Waubun ends the regular season at 7-14 while NCE-UH ends their regular season at 3-19-1
