NCE/U-H at Bagley

Bagley, MN — The NCE/U-H Titans beat the Bagley Flyers 14-11 in eight innings on Friday evening.

Neither team had issues manufacturing runs as there were only three scoreless half innings throughout the course of the entire eight innings. Bagley led for most of the game and took a 10-7 lead into the top of the seventh seemingly to be well in control. However, the Titans would score 5 runs on 4 hits and took advantage of a Flyers error to take the one run 11-10 lead. Credit the Bagley Flyers though as they forced the game into extra innings scoring the one run they needed but also left the bases full in the process. In the top of the eighth, the Titans would collect three ones on just one hit to take a 3-run lead and that would be enough to win the game 14-11.

NCE/U-H is now 7-6 on the season and will host East Polk next Wednesday. Bagley falls to 2-2 and will play the first of four games next week on Monday when they are at Pine River-Backus.
