The Thompson are heading back to the North Dakota State Class B semifinals after defeating Bishop Ryan from Corbett Field on Thursday afternoon.
Reece Berberich picked up the win, giving up 3 hits, 0 walks and 5 strikeouts in 4 innings of work. Berberich also went 4-4 from the plate with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI.
William Welk delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning for the the first run of the game and Brayden Wolfgram added a 2 RBI single in the bottom of the second inning for Thompson.
