North Dakota Division A Boys Basketball State Tournament – Devils Lake vs Valley City

Devils Lake advanced to the North Dakota Division A boys basketball semifinals with a 72-55 win over Valley City from the Fargodome on Thursday afternoon.

Devils Lake (23-2 overall) had four players score in double digits and finished with 12 three-pointers. University of Mary commit Wylee Delorme had 23 points and went 5-8 from the three-point line.

The Firebirds will play in the first semifinal on Friday at 6:30 p.m. against the winner of Beulah or Grafton.

Zach Sykora paced the Hi-Liners with 13 points and Carson Eggert added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Valley City (12-12 overall) heads to the consolation semifinals at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
