The Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros ended their season with a 33-21 victory over the Oak Grove Grovers. The Burros took advantage of short fields on their first two possessions to score on a par of 4-yard TD runs from Landon Olson and Kaden Kozojed for a quick 14-0 lead. Ty Muller would later break free for a 23-yard and 73-yard TD runs to run the score to 27-0 at halftime. Oak Grove found the endzone on their first possession of the second half with Noah Meidinger scoring the first of his two TDs on the evening. A Burro passing from Archer Kritzberger to Bryce Miller resulted in a 35-yard touchdown before Meidinger’s second touchdown run and a Greyson Dockter 17-yard TD reception from Kai Zabel in the closing seconds ended the scoring. The Burros were then able to send their Seniors back on the field for one final play for a season-ending kneel down to run out the clock and give the Burros the win. Hillsboro/Central Valley ends the year 4-5 and graduates 12 Seniors, while Oak Grove ends their season and graduates four Seniors from the roster.
