Jaxon Parker picked up the complete-game win for Central Cass, as the Squirrels are heading to the State Class B semifinals for the first time since 2013.
Parker threw a one-hitter, with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. Eli Buhr hit a solo home run in the top of the 4th inning for the lone run of the contest.
Zack Jorde picked up the loss for North Star, pitching 5 and 2/3 innings. Jorde gave up 1 run on 2 hits, 4 walks and 6 strikeouts.
The Bearcats head to the consolation semifinals against Bishop Ryan on Friday afternoon from Corbett Field.
